Choose around where charging can happen. If the whole bike can stay beside an approved charging socket, an internal battery may be practical. If the socket is inside and parking is elsewhere, daily battery removal may matter more than capacity. The word internal does not prove easy removal, while removable does not mean any charger will work.

Battery access across the six models

Nominal energy and listed battery access
Model Battery Nominal energy Access
XT90 48 V, 20 Ah 960 Wh Internal
GT300 36 V, 10 Ah 360 Wh Internal
GT900 36 V, 13 Ah 468 Wh Internal
SU7 36 V, 13 Ah 468 Wh Internal
F6 Pro 48 V, 15 Ah 720 Wh Removable
X5 48 V, 15 Ah 720 Wh Removable

Energy is calculated as nominal voltage multiplied by Ah. It helps compare stored energy, not personal range or charging speed. Similar voltage and capacity do not establish that two battery packs or chargers are interchangeable.

Follow the branch that matches your home

Secure parking with an approved charging socket

Check that the charger cable can reach without obstructing anyone, the socket arrangement is permitted and the area meets the instructions. Confirm how to reach the bike's charging port. Internal battery access need not be an obstacle when the whole bike stays in an appropriate charging location.

Secure parking without power

Check whether the listed removable pack can be removed routinely by the owner, how it locks, where it can be charged and how heavy it is. Have the procedure demonstrated or obtain the correct written instructions. Battery weight and access clearance are not confirmed by the energy label.

No secure or suitable charging place

Resolve storage and permission first. Another 200 Wh will not provide safe charging or secure parking. If removal requires workshop work, do not base everyday ownership on repeatedly taking the frame apart.

Daily removal and replacement are different

Daily removal means following the owner procedure designed for routine charging or storage. Replacement means exchanging worn or faulty packs, sometimes through qualified technicians. An internal pack might be serviceable without being intended for daily removal. Ask for the relevant instructions rather than infer access from photographs.

For future replacement, record the exact battery reference, electrical rating, connector and approved charger reference from the supplied documentation. Matching appearance is insufficient. Replacement availability, price and lead time should be confirmed separately; they are not guaranteed by the word removable.

Before the first charge

  1. Read the bike, battery and charger instructions supplied with your version.
  2. Use the specified charger. Do not select one only by connector shape.
  3. Inspect for visible damage and keep the charging area clear.
  4. Follow the stated temperature and handling limits. No universal temperature or charging time is supplied here.
  5. Stop using equipment showing unusual heat, smell, swelling or damage and follow the safety instructions. Do not open the battery pack.

F6 Pro's supplied 500 W version needs its intended use checked separately. X5's supplied motor details also need confirmation. Removable batteries do not settle road permission. Compare the whole bike in our model comparison, then check the exact version and charging instructions before buying.
